• I am having a similar problem to another person here. But I am not the one using this plugin. I signed up to an affiliate program of another website, and when I go to their affiliate page it says:

    Your affiliate URL:

    MARKDOWN_HASHf3147dc875048628889435f95f5a2723MARKDOWN_HASH

Use this code to embed your affiliate link:

    MARKDOWN_HASH132db21dbaf4449fb6cd94ce30c5828cMARKDOWN_HASH

I have spoken to their webmaster, and he told me that he is using this plugin. I asked him if any of his other affiliates are having this problem and he said no, it’s just me. So, I assume it may be something on my end.

He tried tweaking a few things on his end, but nothing worked. What’s going on and how can I (or him, or we) fix this?

    Hi,

Let’s try the standard resolution process first:

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

Also note that these indications from the previous topic could be useful to solve your case:

What Jetpack options are you using? Also have you checked if there is anything particular to your theme that could be using this functionality?

Are you using caching for users who are logged in? If yes, you shouldn’t or at least exclude the Affiliate Area from being cached.

    Cheers

No luck. I’m still getting the MARKDOWN_HASH where my affiliate link should be.

Could it possibly be something on my end?

    Hi,

I am having a similar problem:

    Jūsų partnerystės programos URL:
    MARKDOWN_HASHf3147dc875048628889435f95f5a2723MARKDOWN_HASH

Norėdami įterpti savo partnerystės programos nuorodą, naudokite šį kodą:
    MARKDOWN_HASHeb016578e63c58e97e37b79fd1e6760bMARKDOWN_HASH

What shortcode did you change it to? I’m in the affiliate area > edit page > and I see the MARKDOWN_HASH string but no shortcode…

Should I delete the markdown_hash and replace it with a shortcode?
