    Hello all,

    I was not sure where to post this, so here it goes. I received a 1 star review today on one of my plugin. I honestly do not care, but when I went to the user’s profile, he/she has left a large number of completely beligerant reviews on other plugins as well. See this one. It is not my plugin, he reviewed mine earlier in the day.

    I find this behavior completely absurd and I am not sure what to do about it, or who to report this to, so I am doing it here. I apologize if this is not the place to do it. Do WordPress admins have the ability to moderate comments/reviews?

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Yeah if someone’s being abusive then feel free to tag the thread with ‘modlook’ and a moderator will deal with it; https://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Contacting_the_Moderators

    Though I just have to stress that not all 1 star reviews are trolls, even if they are rubbish reviews.

    There’s lots of ways to deal with that but the easiest is to tag the review or topic with modlook. The moderators are pretty good at figuring out what’s what.

    Or you can use the #forums Slack channel. There’s usually someone there at most hours.

    In this case those loud posts with personal attacks and profanity were deleted. That’s not permitted here and while everyone is allowed to have a bad day it’s best just to zap those posts and move on.

    I can never remember ‘modlook’ and would not want to abuse it, but I would commend the mods here for usually taking care of something very quickly anyway!

    Thanks everyone for the response! I did not know about ‘modlook’ so I will make note of that and also the Slack channel. I have absolutely no issue with people leaving poor reviews. I am in the hospitality industry so I have seen it all, it just seemed like this individual was going on a rampage on the reviews he/she left on plugins after mine.
