Hi, I’ve just enabled “Login required” on my directory, downloaded the Login extension and appended the appropriate shortcode onto the “Please login to view the directory.” message.

It all works as expected except NONE of the relevant strings are translated, even though I’d added them to the appropriate .mo file for connections. I assume this is because:

    1) “Please login to view the directory.” is a user-definable rather than a fixed string. Note that I do need to support two languages, so I can’t just change the user-definable string to a translated version.
    2) “Username”, “Password” and “Remember me” are used by the extension, rather than the main plugin; the extension doesn’t have a “languages” folder, so I assumed it’d use the main plugin’s “languages” folder…apparently not?

The translation support was broken/buggy. I’ve fixed this and uploaded version 1.1 with a (machine) translation for Spanish (Spain) which is now in the newly added languages folder.

As for the “Please login to view the directory.”, you will find that on the Connections : Settings admin page under the General tab.

Apologies for the trouble. Hope that helps!
