I’m trying to do the same thing. I’ve used InDesign in the past to lay out for print on lulu.com from a Drupal site before and was hoping to export a WordPress site in similar fashion. It seems like the built in export wraps all the content in CDATA tags.

This person posted a script which will list stories in a single HTML page. Unfortunately InDesign doesn’t import HTML, only XML.

I figured WordPress of all blogging platforms would have an easy way to go from database to print, but it seems not?

I’m poking around this too; same situation — need to do some printed copies of a news/magazine blog.
While pgmarkz stuff looks interesting, it’s kind of backwards, in that in WordPress, everything is already in a content management system…. It doesn’t make sense to take it out of the database and trash all the coding that’s already in place.
Also, because it is in a SQL database, there should be a way to pull stories from the database to a layout, given that ID supports some flavor of database publishing….
