Responsiveness & Show Excerpt

    Hello there,

    I wanted to say I love the plugin you made. Nice interface and easy to use.

    I’d like to use the plugin as core feature on my podcast website. Before, I used to work with Column Posts, but it wasn’t compatible with the new PHP-version.

    For the grid, I would like to show these elements of the post:
    => Post Title
    => Thumbnail
    => Text from the “Excerpt” field.

    I wonder how I can add this last element to the grid. I can see the option to add an excerpt from the “Content” field, but I actually use this WordPress post field called “Excerpt”.

    I also wondered whether this plugin can be made responsive. I see the thumbnail size is measured in pixels, hence it is not responsive. Will there be a responsive version of this plugin available (where on mobile devices the grid is shown as one column in stead of 2 or 3)? Or is there a way to make the output responsive?

    Great to see your interest about this plugin.

    #1, yes this is possible to display only Post Title, Thumbnail, Text from the “Excerpt” field.

    if you mean “Text from the “Excerpt” field.” is an meta fields then this can be easily display via Meta fields feature, please see the screenshot how you can insert meta fields to grid items

    #2. this plugin already has a feature for “Grid items width”( In Mobile & Tabs: ), so you can put your width for mobile device as pixel value or %

    Hello I have the same issue need to add the excerpt field to each post grid, but I don’t see a meta field option only meta in the grid builder. Has this feature been removed or is this not available in the free version?

    I have attached a screenshot for a visual example.

    I can see you are using old version of Post Grid.
    Can you please update latest version ?

    Please note excerpt available in Free version but Meta field not available in Free version

    you can get this page by clicking “Edit” link on post grid edit page under layout tab.
