Nextgen gallery functions irratic.

Firstly Tara if you get to read this, I understand that multiple posts just add to the ever growing number of topics on any forum. I wasn’t aware, at first, that the Nextgen plugin looked like being the issue and also was not aware that there was a separate forum for it. Rather than closing both topics, perhaps one of them could have been left open for further discussion since the problem still exists. Certainly not having a go at you and I do appreciate your time and effort as a volunteer moderator.

Here’s the problem I am having and a run down of what I’ve tried – with nextgen gallery plugin activated, website no longer displays the footer bar with wordpress login and video links also don’t appear. Slideshow is missing from the main page and gallery pages display in a single column instead of the 4 columns entered in the settings. Thumbnails are no longer cropped and images open in the same window instead of in front of it as a separate image.

When logged in to wordpress, all pages, video links and images work just fine in preview, it’s only when viewing the site on the open internet that all the problems are visible. Keep in mind the website has been working just fine with no changes or updates made for a while – this all started 2 days ago.

I de-activated nextgen and found the video links and footer bar were working again. I then deleted nextgen then re-installed it again and the same issues still exist. Is there anything I need to delete manually, like modules or something as I noticed a lot of folders, gallery images and so on still existed after initially deleting the plugin. I would have assumed that the re-install would have overwritten anything remaining.

I have also done a restore of the database from a couple of days earlier and made no difference either. Website is at Sonic Racing Australia
