• Hi Virtue Theme,

I have recently discovered that the image slider and portfolio images have become zoomed in. I suspect that this occurred after the last update that I installed last week.

You can see the effect here. Notice how the images no longer fit into the window and appear to be of very low quality.

Could you help me to fix this, please?

    Hey,
When I view your images I see the same result as I see in the slider- http://i0.wp.com/www.kknovel.co/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Hardy_Witels-e1428571390634.jpg?zoom=2&resize=1140%2C400
Were you seeing something different before? Have you installed any plugins that might be cropping your images?

    Hannah

    Hey,
Looks like you are using jetpack photon for images photon wasn’t allowing images to be cropped before but in the recent update they now are. The thing with your slider is it looks like you have set the slider height to 400. If you want to show more of your images just set the slider height higher. Or if you would like to show all of the image consider using the carousel slider.

    Hi Hannah,

No, I specifically had a look at several images in sliders, and the were not cropped.

I will take a look at Jetpack Photon and see if I can turn the crop feature off.

Thank you for the detailed reply.

    Kind regards,

    Hey,
The image crop has to do with the intention of the theme. The images were always supposed to crop to size with the flex slider. They are all supposed to be the same size. if you use the carousel slider it’s set up differently and you can have multiple image ratios.
