Theme or plugin for user review page

    Hello,

    I would like to create a user review website using wordpress.

    The website offers products e.g. cars and users can write a review about certain cars. The topic of this website is not really cars, but thats easiert to explain. There should be different categories e.g: car type (convertible, SUV, sedan etc) brand (BMW, AUDI, Ford, Nissan)

    The user can then write his review about the “bmw convertible”. This review includes a text, several 1-5 ratings, “do you recommend it” etc. – When clicking on BMW it should display all car types manufactured by bmw and their average rating. – When clicking on convertible it should list all manufacturers and their average rating for all cars by this manufacturer as well as all convertibles by this manufacturer.

    Every review should be a post, so you can list all reviews, sort and filter them by criteria. Other users should be able to mark whether this review was helpful or not. Reviews should then be sorted by this criteria.

    What would be the easiest way to do this? Which theme or plugin can i use? Thanks

    One or more pages of posts (reviews) within their respective categories and with added comments from others is certainly possible, but you would first need some kind of database system or “car manager” for handling the items to be reviewed. A library- or grid-type theme could then provide clickables for those items, or that could also be done with custom WordPress menus. Looking through all the themes and plugins to find what might work can seem a bit daunting, but persistence typically pays off!
