This is very strange. The JavaScript isn’t being loaded at all.
Do you have both wp_head()
and wp_footer()
in your template?
Martin
Thanks you for your answer, Martin.
I have mentions of wp_head() in several files (wp-includes/link-template.php, wp-includes/general-template.php and in 3 files of Jetpack plugin).
I see <?php wp_head(); ?> in header.php file of my theme (sydney is its name). <?php wp_head(); ?> is also in my child-theme, and in /theme-compat/header.php.
It is the same thing for wp_footer, except I did not create any footer.php in my child theme.
Where have you set the Rotating Tweets script to install on the settings page? (The last Where to load Rotating Tweets JavaScript setting).
It was loaded in the footer. I load it back in header right now, but it does not work either.
Which version of the JavaScript are you using? 1 or 2?
The thing I’m baffled about is that the script isn’t ending up on the page.
I’ve seen this problem before – and will try a fix that’s worked on other sites in the development version.
What’s the name of your theme?
I’ve updated the development version and it might/should now work with your theme!
IT IS ROTATING !
Thank you very much Martin Tod !
Hum, Martin, excuse me, it worked just few times. I try again a new install, try v1 and v2 of jQuery Cycle, try load in header and footer for them, nothing is not working. But I saw it, my tweets were rotating with you dev version.
The code still isn’t appearing when I look at the site.
What happens if you upload rotatingtweets.php
again?
Sorry, I did not deploy modifications. They are on the server now.
How are you adding Rotating Tweets to the page?
I’m using a plugin (Page Builder by SiteOrigin https://siteorigin.com/). I create a row in the editor of the page, and add rotating tweets plugin in.
