Scribd isn't working on WP 4.2.2

    Here’s what I’m inputting on a page on my site:

    [scribd id=49670924 key=key-drkmwvf89exm352h830 mode=scroll]

    When I view the page, that code shows. Not the actual PDF file in my scribd library. I searched around and saw people where having this issue, but that was back on WordPress version 2.x. I’m using the latest 4.2.2. I really don’t want to host 50-60 PDF files on my own site – would so much rather use the Scribd, since I have a nice library built out. But why isn’t it working in wordpress?

    Hi, that shortcode is not part of core WordPress. It comes on the hosted wordpress.com installs, and it comes in Jetpack. If you have Jetpack installed and activated it should work.
