• I am trying to implement a slider which loops images infinitely.
As apparently neither Revolution Slider nor LayerSlider seemed to have that capability. Therefore I gave the next one a shot, MetaSlider.

So far so good, it seems to work almost like intended.
    Footer

Long story short: I want my images to run infinitely like a threadmill.
    Something like this: Slider
only difference: It’s supposed to run automatically.

  • Hi there,

It looks like you’ve been able to achieve this – the slider in the footer you linked to runs automatically and loops?

    Many thanks,
    Dave

    No it does not.
Maybe I need to be more precise then:
Currently the slider runs from left to right and reverses.
I want it to run non-stop like a Carousel-Slider is supposed to, given the right options.
Meaning it only runs in one direction and then brings the pictures around to start again.

    Essentially this:

And yes, I just made that on the fly. Is Meta Slider capable of this?

I’ll take that extremely long pause as a “no, Meta Slider is not capable of acting like a carousel with an infinite loop.”

That in turn makes the whole plugin useless to me.

    Hi there,

I’m afraid you’re correct, Flex Slider doesn’t offer the behaviour you’re looking for whilst in Carousel mode, it will loop but will reverse the direction to display the first slide, then continue as before.

    Thanks,
    Dave
