Homepage not working correctly after upgrade

Hello,

My site is http://www.travelfootprints.ca

Many aspects of my homepage are not working after a recent upgrade to wordpress 2.7

The categories, featured posts and travel links at the bottom are all not there.

I am not sure if I will be able to fix it myself, but I can give it a try if someone could tell me what has caused this.
