There seems to be a glitch between the global locale setting (“generation of a link element”) and the per-post locale setting (“content locale override”):

If I’ve once set a per-post locale and then deactivate the per-post locale option in the AMT prefs the per-post locale still appears in the link element, no matter if the “Locale” field in AMT’s prefs contains a value.

To make it go away I have to re-enable the per-post locale option and then delete the values from every post.

I see. I know it’ll sound awkward, but for the time being this is by design, or better a ‘known issue’.

Disabling metabox features does not prevent the data from being read from the custom fields (where it is stored).

However, a fix for this functionality has been planned for upcoming releases. If this is to be fixed, it has to be done for all the metabox features in one go. It’ll require some time and testing and this is why it has not been fixed yet.

Thanks for this feedback as well! 🙂

Feel free to post your feedback and ideas. Sometimes, especially in the upcoming weeks, it might take a while before I respond.

    Kind Regards,
    George

Ah, OK, I didn’t realize that this concerns all ATM metaboxes. I never disabled one! Thanks for the hint 😉
