Where do I add special coding in evolve theme?

Hi – I’ve tried adding the code in a few different places, it works somewhat – for example the single listing shows the post content, but none of the features/map etc when I add the code.
The archive page worked at first, but now it’s not – which is fine because I put the short code on the rental listing page and that comes through fine.
However – I can’t get the properties to show up on the Easy Listings Map plugin (the map portion works, but the properties don’t show) And I’m not able to search for the properties by any price. (just says “nothing is found”).
I’m sure if I get the code in the right place it’ll work fine – but evolve has kind of their own thing going in the backend and I’m not sure where it should go. (There are no archive or single.php files, so I created them from the index.php)
