Does your plugin have Prev and Next buttons ?
-
@frank tredici – Can you provide any additional details to put that question in context?
Thanks!
– Cais.
Sure, I just did a real quick google images search. take a look at this image
http://visionwidget.com/images/2012/2012-2/0203/image_slider_psd_25.jpg
I want to add the left arrow “Prev” button and the right arrow “Next” button and have them act as controls to manually scroll back and forth through the gallery.
Is your plugin capable of that feature?
@frank tredici – The closest to that example might be our NextGEN Legacy “Carousel” template but you would likely still want to customize it further than the default bundle version.
Thanks!

So is there a option or setting in your plugin to make that happen? Is there any documentation or examples on how to do it?
Has anyone used the nextgen plugin with Prev & Next control buttons? If so, how did you make that happen? Did you find any documentation on how to do that? Thanks foe helping…
@frank tredici – There is no option per se, I suggested you look at creating a custom template to design a display that suits the look you are wanting to achieve.
Thanks!

How do you create a custom template? Is there documentation on how to do that or what that even means relative to your plugin?
Also do you have any plans to make your plugin function like other photo galleries with Next and Previous button controllers?
@frank tredici – We have this article about templates: http://nextgen-gallery.com/templates/ … and we other display types available in our NextGEN Pro versions that may better suit your needs. Feel free to have a look at the various demo pages on our site as well.
Thanks!

@frank tredici – You’re welcome!

I’m dealing with a similar issue @frank. I feel that the absence of the prev/next user navigation option is an important standard to consider @photocrati. I be interested to hear if you’ve had any success. Thanks!
John
Hi @johnlunceford … no success. Actually, I gave up on it as it was a minor feature of the new site we built and we decided to not use the feature. We’re exploring other, more robust, plugins for our photo galleries.
Good luck and thanks for posting to let other out there know of certain limitations with this plugin.
@johnlunceford – Please start your own topic so we can try to help you with your specific issue on your specific site.
