Image plugin request

If anyone has spare time and knows how to code:
I’m now using Lazy Image Layout, by David Shea (http://davidseah.com/projects/lzil), which is an amazing tool for displaying images on the blog. What I’d love to see is a way to take those thumbnails and have them come up on a seperate-page, categorized slideshow when clicked on. I’ve seen a few hacks that can do something similar, but I wouldn’t have the first idea of how to integrate them with LZIL. Obviously I don’t expect anyone to just make it for me, but if you think it’s a good idea and get around to doing it, please share with the rest of us~ ^__^
