  • Hello,

I am facing the same problem, after today’s update.

    Thanks

Going to Settings > Permalinks and resaving will fix most cases.

You may want to see if another plugin is causing a timeout. In your case, this is the ajax response its waiting for:

    https://www.musicindustryinsideout.com.au/jm-ajax/get_listings?action=job_manager_get_listings&search_keywords=&search_location=&filter_job_type%5B%5D=casual&filter_job_type%5B%5D=contract&filter_job_type%5B%5D=fixed-term-full-time&filter_job_type%5B%5D=freelance&filter_job_type%5B%5D=full-time&filter_job_type%5B%5D=internship&filter_job_type%5B%5D=part-time&filter_job_type%5B%5D=temporary&filter_job_type%5B%5D=unpaid&filter_job_type%5B%5D=volunteer&filter_job_type%5B%5D=&per_page=15&orderby=featured&order=DESC&page=1&show_pagination=false&form_data=search_keywords%3D%26search_location%3D%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dcasual%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dcontract%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dfixed-term-full-time%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dfreelance%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dfull-time%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dinternship%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dpart-time%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dtemporary%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dunpaid%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dvolunteer%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3D

I went to Permalinks, resaved and nothing happened.

Is there a workaround that provides a quick solution?

No other plugins work in the problematic page, like

    http://www.pointgreek.com/listings/?search_keywords=&search_location=Spain&search_categories%5B%5D=&use_search_radius=on&search_radius=50&search_lat=0&search_lng=0&search_region=&search_context=6&filter_job_type%5B%5D=freelance&filter_job_type%5B%5D=full-time&filter_job_type%5B%5D=internship&filter_job_type%5B%5D=part-time&filter_job_type%5B%5D=temporary&filter_job_type%5B%5D=

From Inspect Element on Chrome, the console tab produces the following error:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
    http://www.pointgreek.com/jm-ajax/?action=job_manager_get_listings&search_keywords=&search_location=Spain&search_categories%5B%5D=&filter_job_type%5B%5D=freelance&filter_job_type%5B%5D=full-time&filter_job_type%5B%5D=internship&filter_job_type%5B%5D=part-time&filter_job_type%5B%5D=temporary&filter_job_type%5B%5D=&per_page=1000&orderby=featured&order=DESC&page=1&show_pagination=false&form_data=search_keywords%3D%26search_location%3DSpain%26search_categories%255B%255D%3D%26use_search_radius%3Don%26search_radius%3D50%26search_lat%3D0%26search_lng%3D0%26search_region%3D0%26search_context%3D0%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dfreelance%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dfull-time%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dinternship%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dpart-time%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dtemporary%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3D

    Thanks Mike.

Can you explain for me – if the ajax response its waiting for is all job-listings related, then how would another plugin be causing the timeout? And how would I find out which one it is? My site has 49 active plugins, can not deactivate some of them as they power the membership site.

I did the permalinks re-save, but it’s still not loading.

@westcomagr The correct and working endpoint is:

    http://www.pointgreek.com/jm-ajax/get_listings?action=job_manager_get_listings&search_keywords=&search_location=Spain&search_categories%5B%5D=&filter_job_type%5B%5D=freelance&filter_job_type%5B%5D=full-time&filter_job_type%5B%5D=internship&filter_job_type%5B%5D=part-time&filter_job_type%5B%5D=temporary&filter_job_type%5B%5D=&per_page=1000&orderby=featured&order=DESC&page=1&show_pagination=false&form_data=search_keywords%3D%26search_location%3DSpain%26search_categories%255B%255D%3D%26use_search_radius%3Don%26search_radius%3D50%26search_lat%3D0%26search_lng%3D0%26search_region%3D0%26search_context%3D0%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dfreelance%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dfull-time%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dinternship%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dpart-time%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3Dtemporary%26filter_job_type%255B%255D%3D

@martine_cotton I don’t know what was causing your timeout but the listings are loading (eventually) for me. You should look into what plugins are installed causing that request to be so slow.

    @bobbyau 1.22.2 update for images.

Everyone else, another source of cache is cloudflare if you’re running that. Purge all cache. Confirmed this has fixed other installs.

Hello @ymkd52 and all the people on this thread: Per the forum welcome please post your own topic.

You can do that via this link.

    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wp-job-manager#postform

When you all play “pile on the topic” you end up taking a thread that may have been productive for the original poster and turning it into an unmanageable mess. It doesn’t help the person who started the topic and it doesn’t help you.

It’s also amazingly disrespectful of the person who originally posted a problem. You’re hijacking that problem with your own.

All of you please start your own topic with your own details. That link above will let you do that very easily.

I’m leaving this topic open but deleting all replies except the original poster’s and the plugin author’s. Please, please, please start your own topic.

Sorry about that @Jan_Dembowski there was no intent to be disrespectful. I will start my own topic.
