    The original developer of carousel wrote it to show more than one Tweet at the time – so it may not cope with less than two.

    If you only want to show one Tweet, why aren’t you using scrollUp?

    I was playing around with the display settings before showing it to the client; yes, for one tweet scroll up would be best but I couldn’t work out why ‘1’ didn’t work. No problem.

    Another issue – I have this in my shortcode:

    show_meta_timestamp='1'
    show_meta_via='1'
    show_meta_screen_name='0'

    However:
    1. The date and time is not shown
    2. How the tweet was posted is not shown
    3. The poster’s name is still shown

    Any thoughts?

    I don’t particularly want to rewrite the JavaScript, so should probably put some code in that switches to the relevant single-tweet format if the value is 1.

    What value do you have for official_format? The show_meta variables normally only work if the value is 0 (or not set) unless offficial_format_override=1

    Sorry. That should be official_format_override=1 !

    I agree about the single tweet, if the client wants one only then I’ll use scrollUp.

    I was using official_format 2, it wasn’t clear from the Display Options instructions about show_meta variables. I’ve changed to 0 and they are now working. Thanks for the clarification.
