    Hi,
Formidable is a form plugin that lets you create a post from a form. This post creation doesn’t show up in the audit log though.

One of the form fields is a file upload, that shows up in the log, but not the post creation itself. Any ideas?

How do you record posts getting created (so I can share that with the Formidable people)?

    Hello,

Thanks for showing interest in our plugin.

The plugin is using and monitoring the standard WordPress hooks to monitor new blog posts etc hence it could be that Formidable is not using them (I am not implying this but usually this is the case).

Alternatively you can ask the Formidable guys to get in touch with us on plugins@wpwhitesecurity.com. We will gladly look into the issue and solve it.

    Thank you.

Could you tell me which hooks?

    Hello,

Sorry for the delay on replying to you. The plugin uses the “transition_post_status” and the available post statuses are:

new – When there’s no previous status
publish – A published post or page
pending – A post pending review
draft – A post in draft status
auto-draft – A newly created post with no content
future – A post scheduled to publish in the future
private – Not visible to users who are not logged in
inherit – A revision or attachments
trash – Post is in the trash

While I trust the above answers your query do not hesitate to get in touch should you have any further queries. You can also email us on plugins@wpwhitesecurity.com.

    Have a great weekend.
