Hi. Is there an easy way to list all categories and their colors, using just the shortcode? And also not have the category link to a category page? Just a list of category slug and color.

I can get it to list currently used categories, which is ok if that’s the only option, but I would like all category slugs/colors and no links.

Is this possible? Thannks!

There’s no shortcode for listing categories. But there is a widget, however this will display links and only display categories with events, and it won’t display colours.

You can get it to show all categories using this filter: http://codex.wp-event-organiser.com/hook-eventorganiser_widget_event_categories_args.html.

It’s fairly straightforward to retrieve all categories, you can use the standard WordPress function: get_terms(), and to get a category’s colour: eo_get_category_color( $term )
