• Hello,

I downloaded this plugin through my wordpress app downloaded to my go daddy Linux account. Once downloaded and activated it crashed my entire site

    http://www.avolyn.com

Fatal error: Call to undefined method Testimonials_Widget::version_check() in /home/avolyn/public_html/wp-content/plugins/testimonials-widget/testimonials-widget.php on line 94

I can’t even get back into my wordpress app to delete the plugin or do anything in my wordpress. When I am in godaddy and try to login to my cpanel my wordpress admin link is broken.

I am not a code developer and I am desperate!! Help!

Avolyn, I’m really sorry to hear about the problem. Are you able to run a FTP command to delete the wp-content/plugins/testimonials-widget directory?

Do you happen to have any other plugins or themes running which might be using the class name Testimonials_Widget?

I am having the same issue. I was able to have the site reset and can now access my site, but I still would like to use this plugin if I can. My IT support told me the plugin was in conflict with my theme. Do you have a suggestion on how I can make them work together?

    Thanks!!

LaurenHornor, Which theme are you using? Did you check your theme documentation are they provide any Testimonials functionality which might be using same function/ class as Testimonials Widget plugin ? Also did you check is there any js error you are countering when you check in console panel from fire bug?
