While editing or updating my old posts using Firefox, I could always (for at least a year) simply alter the size of my media when editing in ‘visual’ by grabbing the corners and extending or reducing the uploaded photo. Then I could save/update the changes and the images would remain the size I had made just made them.

Beginning about 3 days ago (without adding any new plugins), this stopped working. Although I can still change the size of the photos by grabbing the corners during editing, when I update/republish the post, the images now seem to revert back to the original size.

I must add that some of these images were originally uploaded via blogger but transferred to wordpress. However, this has always been the case and this has not been a problem.

PS. Even weirder is that after I have done this, if I check the media through ‘page info’ on a particular post (for example http://www.ifitshipitshere.com/amazing-outdoor-playhouses-for-kids-inspired-by-modern-architecture/), the jpegs and pngs seem to indicate that they were resized and are the size I want them at (768 -800 pixels wide) but when viewing the post they still appear small about 300 pixels wide.

    my blog is at http://www.ifitshipitshere.com

Anyone know why or how to fix this? Thanks so much 🙂

    Thanks so much.
