    Hello,

    Website: https://zosseo.com/
    wp_version = ‘4.2.2’
    WP eCommerce: Version 3.9.4

I updated my eCommerce plugin and now my purchase button seems to be broken. Whenever I click on it the page just refreshes with the same information. My dashboard sales log captures the sale, however it always returns as “payment declined”. Customers have no way of knowing whether the purchase was completed. I now have to enter the sales separately into my authorize.net account in order to process the payment.

Please let me know where to start looking for a solution or if you have any ideas what could be causing the hangup.

    Thanks!

Not sure if this will help but just noticed this error in the console:

Blocked loading mixed active content "http://zosseo.com/wp-content/themes/news/js/script.js"

  • Just had the same issue and had to pay 99$ to wp-ecommerce to get this simple answer so, hope it helps you or someone else. First, I needed to upgrade both wp-ecommerce and gold cart to latest version. This should have fixed the issue of the page just refreshing upon purchase selection(which was related to the new authorize.net security roll out) but lastly needed to update my version of php on the server in order for the changes to work correctly on the updated plugins. Hope this helps.

Something similar ended up fixing my issue. My Gold Cart was not updated to the latest version even though it showed no available updates and I had received no notification that an update was even available. Eventually, I had to manually delete the GoldCart files from server and reupload new GoldCart files in order to get the latest authnet certificates to work…thanks!

Also have the issue of the purchase button just refreshing the checkout page (i haven’t used Gold Cart on this particular site). Disabling the Shipping Same as Billing option has cured it. Would appreciate a fix if anyone comes across one. Cheers!

I have the same issue and it happens every time there is a new update. I saw in a post that you can disable the plugin and enable it and that should fix it however I tried that and it did not fix it for me.

I usually pay someone on fiverr to fix it for me put since it happens every time I would like to know how to fix it myself.

    Thanks!

What ended up fixing it for me was a new update to the GoldCart plugin which had new authorize.net certificates. Funny thing was, I had to look up manually to see there was an update even available. No email or WP dashboard notification that there was an update…hope this helps…

    Hi tmund,

Very valid point, about the updater in Gold Cart being broken. That was news to me, so we shipped 2.9.9 with an auto-updater, so for the next release, you should be able to update it automatically within WordPress, just like you do any other plugin.

    brodnax2008,

Looks like the URL must actually be http://karenrothnutrition.com/. That’s not going to be the same issue present here, as you’re using PayPal Standard. The issue you’re facing generally seems to be when using the “Shipping Same as Billing” option with old template files. You may try updating the template files in your active theme folder to the latest ones available in the WP eCommerce plugin – that should resolve the issue.

Hi sorry on the wrong URL :/

So I went to store-presentation I check marked them all them clicked move files and then did the flush theme cache but it didn’t resolve the issue.

I just changed it to where the customer has to re-enter their shipping address and that seemed to fix this issue.
