Ok. Problems with the new version. Of course no developer loves to hear that. So, I have some questions .

On the pages that are having problems, how are they set up? Are you specifying certain products on the page in the old way, such as
[zStoreBasic productType=”zazzle_shirt”] or is it without the product type?

I will fix the CSS issues. Ooops. 🙁

If you have “one column” can you tell me what theme you are using? This is playing well with all of my themes, but there are loads of variations.

Looks like I will be coding this weekend!

  • Hello Ilene,
In my instance, on my main Zazzle page, there is No product type, my associate ID is the only think driving the selection. I am using a Woo Theme called StoreFront.
Also note that each entry has a duplicate entry presented in the “one column” display. The first entry has a list “period” beside the entry, the duplicate has no list icon.

Thanks, (Hope it all comes together quickly for you.)

Just wanted to let everybody know, I’m working on this. Of course my internet went down last night. Never a dull moment!

I still cannot duplicate the one column thing. Frustrating. I would note that sometimes WordPress sneaks in a on a page. Make sure you do not have that.

Testing, testing and even more testing!

wild unsubstantiated guess; is the CSS issue related to the one-column format issue by any chance…. I am sure you would have considered that all ready, but just running it up the flag pole, as they use to say.

The CSS issue mentioned in this forum is (will be fixed) is an issue, but not the cause of the formatting. My css file was overwriting certain things in the template file. Big no-no.

The stacking might be a CSS issue. I did adapt the code from Zazzle original store builder, and I noticed that the products are not all the same height. It was designed that way because you can choose whether to show a title, price etc or not to. In this new version, I have made the product heights uniform, but I have hard coded the font of the title, price etc. (and I was careful not to interfere with the theme).:-)

I also fixed an update issue, so that when you update it won’t overwrite what you have in your database(gee, what a concept!)

I noticed that some of y’all who are having problems have themes that have lots of add-ons. Are you using the add-ons?

Also, anybody want to try the new version out before I load it up for the world? I simply haven’t seen the stacking issue. Email me on my form if you want to.

I never had had the information stay in the database. GoDaddy, in trying to help, would disable all my plugins. When I re-enabled zStore Basic, I would always have to fill in the settings again to get it going. So is this situation part of the fixed update issue? Just wondering. I forgot to mention that originally, I’ve automatically went back to re-input the settings for at least the last 6 months.

Yes! THAT issue will be fixed. Right now, I’m looking for other issues, and trying to see if I can recreate that one that has only one product on the page.

To your question of addons. I use PageBuilder by SiteOrigin. But I do not use it on zStore Basic pages. I like to keep the page open as possible for rows of Zazzle products.

I just asked about add-ons. You don’t have to use them on zstore basic pages to have them interfere. I’m not saying they are. I just have to know so I can look at it.
