Featured Images are not showing in post

    I’m using the theme Twenty Thirteen.
    My images are not showing in my post (usually under the post title). WP seems to still recognize the images since when I share a post on Facebook the image is visible as the shared image.

    Note: I used the plugin “Child Theme Configurator” to create a child theme for my website. This may have caused the problem…I’m not sure.

    How do I get my featured images to show in the posts?

    (Yes, the featured image is selected to show in the post editor page)

    Hi,
    Can you activate the parent theme and check if the featured image is displayed?
    If it is then the problem if from the child theme you created.
    What files do you have in your child theme folder?

    So I activated parent theme and posted a new post with a featured image. It still did not show.
    I also deactivated plugins with the parent theme and it still did not work.

    My wp theme is in this directory:
    Websitename>wp-content>themes>twentythirteen-child

    And the files inside the child theme folder (“twentythirteen-child”)are:
    functions.php
    screensho-t.png
    style-20150604020845.css
    style.css

    have you checked the html ouptut of your post in the browser (‘view source’ or similar) to see if the html code of the featured image appears there?

    can you provide a live link to your site to allow for investigating the output?
