Base domain redirecting to original URL
-
Hi,
I’ve followed the instructions but for some reason, when visiting the base domain, it gets redirected to the original domain. But when visiting posts and pages, it works fine.
Here are examples:
Original domain: http://jcsesecuneta.com
Map: http://jcsesecuneta.com/snoworld to http://snoworld.oneScenario #1: If you visit http://snoworld.one it loads http://jcsesecuneta.com not the content of http://jcsesecuneta.com/snoworld
Scenario #2: Other plugins doesn’t seem to ‘pick-up’ the mapped domain – is it normal? For example, for my frontpage, I’m using this plugin: http://en.8elite.com/network-latest-posts The posts that should have snoworld.one are still showing as jcsesecuneta.com/snoworld/ when you hover over the post title.
But the mapping works for the following:
A. Posts: http://jcsesecuneta.com/snoworld/csi-cyber-game-ranking/ is now http://snoworld.one/csi-cyber-game-ranking/
B. Admin: Non-redirect Admin loginSome information:
– I’m using CloudFlare
– I’m using nginx
– Multisite subdirectory setupAlready tried the following not in the instructions but to no avail, some not needed at all but tried anyway:
1. Switch to IP and CNAME (domain side)
2. Added snoworld.one in the server_name directive
3. Tried also server_name_in_redirect off
4. Changed siteurl and path via Network > My Sites to snoworld.one
5. ‘Upgrade Network’ of WP
6. Restarted nginx and php5-fpm for every changes
7. Checked nginx rewrite rules
8. CloudFlare setup was turned-off for jcsesecuneta.com and snoworld.oneNo longer have any ideas left.
Thank you for the assistance.
