I would personally expect you hit your PHP memory limit and the process died.

I’d suggest you ensure the file is saved within the wp-content/uploads directory and try again, it shouldn’t take -too- long for it to process it, no more than a few minutes I’d have thought, but that being said, neither WordPress nor the plugin are designed for such large files, so other things might be impacting it.

    Thanks for your quick reply.
It’s ‘crashed’ then, so how do I stop the upload task (I’m stuck with just a spinning disc in the ‘Media’ menu) ?

I expect it’s just the browser which is spinning, and it’s not actually processing anything on the server side. Reloading the page, or opening a new tab is all you’d need to do.

Strangely, I only get the spinning disc in ‘Grid Mode’. In ‘List Mode’ I can see my media files fine. Any ideas as to how to fix the spinning disc in ‘Grid Mode’ ?
