TinyMC? I assume you mean TinyMCE, but there are a lot of plugins that use TinyMCE, can you please clarify which one you are actually using?

My apologies, I’m using WordPress Tinymce visual editor buttons

Can you provide a link to the exact plugin you are using? I’m having a hard time finding one with that exact name, and there are a lot of plugins that have similar names.

    Sure, this is the one:

I see now that it hasn’t been updated in a while, but I haven’t had issues with it so far.

Yeah, I try not to use anything that hasn’t been updated in the last year, but surprisingly, it does still work. I activated it on my site with EWWW IO, and it seems to work just fine.

Perhaps you updated another plugin close to the same time? The standard procedure when something breaks is to disable all plugins, and switch to the default theme (twenty fifteen), and make sure the TinyMCE plugin works then. Then turn your regular theme back on, check it again. If it still works, then continue activating your plugins one by one until the TinyMCE plugin stops working and you find the culprit.

I did actually also update shareaholics and I asked the question in their support forum as well. Wanted to make sure I covered all of my bases:)

I know that that is the standard procedure and respect that, but I just launched a guide today and have major social media promotion set up, so the timing to start experimenting is a bit off:) I’ll have to when the problem isn’t fixed though.

However, I was experiencing another problem and I think that was caused by the TinyMCE plugin itself. I deleted it and that other problem now seems solved, so I guess I’ll have to learn to live without it:)

Thank you for your quick responses, I really appreciate it!
