Can't upload from iPhoto and can't drag/drop either

    When I try to select photos to add to my media library, none of the images I’ve imported into iPhoto from my camera show as options to upload. I also am unable to drag and drop any image from iPhoto into WP.

    As a work around, I am able to drag and drop photos from my desktop, but this extra step is time consuming.

    iPhoto is a bit weird, it’s a graphical interface to a proprietary image library. In short, WordPress doesn’t (can’t) know how to talk to it.

    The best way to quickly upload from iPhoto is to duplicate the images to your desktop by dragging-and-dropping them to there, then upload them from your desktop.

    hmm. ok. I’ve been doing that but was hoping for a better solution, or better yet a fix in the future?

    Perhaps you can tell me then why I can’t upload on my iPad or iPhone from photo stream. I have no trouble uploading from photos that are saved on my device, but if it’s in the cloud, no can do.

    That’s very different than what’s being discussed in this thread.

    If you are indeed referring to the Photos app in iOS (iPhone/iPad) and not iPhoto (or the new Photos app) on your Mac, please open your own thread about that: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting#postform
