Incorporate editor into a custom widget?

I’m writing several widgets for my organization’s WordPress site and I was wondering if there was a way I could incorporate the editor from your widget into other widgets.
It would be very helpful if it was possible to incorporate the TinyMCE editor into custom widgets, since we’re thinking of building our whole site using widgets.
