Go to admin, settings, media and check what it says there. YOu might experiment with a couple of different settins.
I am not familiar with sliding door but if it is a plug in, disable it and see how things work.
I am not seeing it. Why would it only let me use the Full size option? It was working fine and then I revisited the site three days later and all the pictures were blown up for no reason. They automatically switched over.
So under admin or dashboard, settings, media are the size numbers filled out?
Did you disable the plugin?
Site URL?
I didn’t see any plugins
My site is http://www.southpointeoxford.com I took all of the pictures off because they looked horrible. Do you want me to put them back on so you can see what I am talking about?
Sorry, at first I thought Sliding Door was some kind of a plugin.
So under wp-admin, settings, media are the size numbers filled out?
Yes, please put one up or provide a working link to one of your images that look bad. The info I can see shows the image size 80×30 pixels.
http://southpointeoxford.com/?p=35
this is the URL that will take you to my MESSED up pictures! lol
Thank you very much for your help by the way kmessinger
Here is an image test page, http://www.ourexcellentadventures.com/picture-test/
The above is letting WP control the sizes of the images by the settings in your admin, under settings, media. You enter the sizes you want there and WP takes care of it. Note that if you enter a setting that is larger than the original image, when you add an image to a post or a Page, the size that is too large will be greyed out.
Also I did notice that your theme codes the images in a different manner than mine (WP default).
Yours:
<dt class=’gallery-icon’>
<img src=”http://southpointeoxford.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/c17-11-second-floor.jpg” class=”attachment-thumbnail” alt=”” />
Mine:
<div class=”entry”>
<p><img class=”size-thumbnail wp-image-1339 alignleft” title=”first-floor-cypress” src=”http://www.ourexcellentadventures.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/first-floor-cypress-150×150.jpg” alt=”first-floor-cypress” width=”96″ height=”96″ />
The link you sent me had quite a few errors. See here, http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fsouthpointeoxford.com%2F%3Fp%3D35&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0
It is really impractical to try to trouble shot a particular problem with errors in the code.
Hope this all gives you something to work on.
I saw that my site had many errors. Is that the theme persons fault because I am only editing through wordpress.
Also looking at my code and your code, is there a difference because of the person who did my theme?
