Broke 14 plugins – Support ignored Us.

After installing w3 cache, set pretty much to their default settings.
14 Plugins were broken – the icons & images used by the plugins would NOT display.
w3’s initial “support” reply was to blame it on our FONT CSS. They blamed icon/IMAGE errors on the fonts!
After pointing out how unlikely that the fonts are causing image load problems, NO reply. IN A MONTH. re-posted the error 3 times with “support”. nada
Gave them guest admin access – it was never used.
That sort of response is probably why the plugin show “21 of 300 support threads in the last two months have been resolved.”
Spent 3 weeks trying everything WE could think of, still no joy – plugins still broken. And 3rd party test sites don’t show a tremendous speed change over site performance without caching.
