• My website is incredibly slow. I deleted unused plugins, checked for vulnerabilities, and checked the cache options. Nothing seems to work. Any advice, suggestions? My website is hosted with Dreamhost.

  • What is your website’s address?

I would suggest doing the following:

    • Compressing all of your images – You can download lots of plugins or if you prefer computer software that will compress images for you. Compressing images can reduces the size of the images by up to 80%.
    • Are plugins slowing it down? – I would download P3 and run a scan. By doing this you can see what plugins are slowing down your website.
    • Cloudflare – If you are using CloudFlare I would try deactivating it to see if it speeds up the website. Sometime things like this can have opposite affects on your page speed.
    • Disable all Cache – I would try clearing and disabling all your cache to see if it helps

Let me know if any of this helped.

It loads pretty quickly. Have a look at an analysis of page load time

If you are using large images make sure they are in RGB format this drastically reduces the file size which also reduces page load time.

It appears to be the browser. On Firefox your website loaded quite fast but on Internet Explorer it took a little time.
