You can change this CSS code.
You can use https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/ plugin to avoid overwriting of CSS code because of future updates of the theme.

Thank you for the response. It does change some color but not of the header. It now changes the color of the very top of the page: where you can see the contact information; telephone number and e-mail.

The color of the background in the header behind the text Timmerbedrijf SDG uw Vakman in de Regio Goes. This is a slider perhaps that something with the coding lies in this?
The photo I added is actually very light but the theme changed it too dark. You can see original photo like I added it in the menu ‘werkzaamheden’
