Hi Richie, amazing theme, I tried hundreds and stayed with yours πŸ˜‰

I have a situation here: I can not make out the forums listed on one page. To start editing the blog I think I deleted the page “Forum”, and then create another one with the same name (and config like one of the top pages), but I can’t make out listed or “new forum option” on that page, I can only see them in a forum’s widget.

What do you think is wrong? At the root page for the forum I set as: /forums so I don’t know what is happening. Any idea?

    Thanks in advance.

are you using bbpress plugin? you may need to re-save the forum setting and use wp-admin->settings->reading->choose forum page as frontpage.

ps: i think bbpress had shortcode on default forum page, which you delete, might want to add them back if saving the forum setting did not work.

Thanks for the reply. I haven’t a forums site, forum is in one of the pages in my site, so I can’t put it like frontpage.

But… you are a genius πŸ˜€ I searched for forum pages shortcodes and found this:

[bbp-forum-index] – This will display your entire forum index.
    [bbp-forum-form] – Display the β€˜New Forum’ form.
    [bbp-single-forum id=$forum_id] – Display a single forums topics. eg. [bbp-single-forum id=32]

Now it’s all there :D. I know this was something obvious but I’m a newbie. But I should have known because I’m working with shortcodes. Well, anyway… I hope that works for someone else.

Bye and thanks, this case is [resolved].
