• We have a page where links and keywords for all our club’s past newsletters are posted. I would like to add a search feature for that single page so people can search the keywords for the newsletters. A lot of people using this site are not computer savy so I don’t want the search to pull information from any other page except this one with the newsletter information. Here’s the page I’m referring to.

Any suggestions? This question has actually been asked a couple of times before in this forum but got no replies except for, “Why would you want to do that?” I’m hoping someone out there has a better answer.

    Thanks for your help!

  • You can create a custom search form and/or target what you desire to search for. Here is a good write up the topic:

Thanks for the suggestion. I saw that you could customize the types of words, etc, but I didn’t see clearly where you could limit the page it searches on. This might be a little over my head too as I couldn’t even find where I could look at the WP_Query list that the article was referring too. I do know some code, but I’m trying to keep this as simple as I can so I can pass the responsibility of maintaining the website to others as this is a non-profit club website.

    Thanks!
