    Hello
Can someone please help me fix my website?
I tried to upload Virtue Premium theme and received the message below:

Warning: require_once(/home3/ixia/public_html): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home3/ixia/public_html/wp-content/themes/templates/functions.php on line 7

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ” (include_path=’.:/opt/php54/lib/php’) in /home3/ixia/public_html/wp-content/themes/templates/functions.php on line 7

I’m not sure what to do to fix this problem but if someone could help me out that would be great.

    My website is http://www.ixiaboutique.com
    Thanks
    Stefanie

If you use a commercial theme or plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

    For your information

Warning: require_once(/home3/ixia/public_html): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home3/ixia/public_html/wp-content/themes/templates/functions.php on line 7

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '' (include_path='.:/opt/php54/lib/php') in /home3/ixia/public_html/wp-content/themes/templates/functions.php on line 7

They are errors on line 7 of the Virtue Themes function.php file.

to rule out any theme-specific issue, try switching to the unedited default Twenty Fifteen theme for a moment using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder by adding “-old” to the end of the folder name. Alternately, you can remove other themes except the default theme. That will force your site to use it.

If the default theme has no issue, then you know the issue is with your current theme. In that case, I recommend you contact the theme’s developers. For you’ll be more likely to find a good answer from your theme’s developers, for they have the access to its code. Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product. These forums are for free themes available in the WordPress theme directory at wordpress.org/themes/.
