  • Hi jantsu78, I’m using WPMUDEV’s domain mapping on some occasions too but never noticed anything going wrong. Could you share a link where the issue can be seen live?

Sorry, no link. Plugin is disabled because of this.

Can you please tell me wich version of domain mapping you are using? It worked for me too over 3 years, with newest domain mapping version it did not work.

Ah, it might be well a conflict with the latest version then. I have not checked that… Will try to find out more 🙂

Tried to reproduce but cannot. What are your Domain Mapping network settings? And do you have on the sub-site both www and non-www domains configured or only the www domain?

Did you get any script errors in the browser console?

    What settings exactly?

Mapped subsites works with www, without www and normally sub.mydomain.com

Only www <-> non www redirect did not work. When i network disable Easy Fancybox, redirect works.

    What settings exactly?

The Domain Mapping settings in your network admin.

Disabled all plugins. Twenty Twelve theme and Twenty Fourteen tested. Only WPMUDEV Domain Mapping pluging and Easy Fancybox activated.

    Debug:
Warning: require_once(/var/www/wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/easy-fancybox/easy-fancybox-class.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/easy-fancybox.php on line 63 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/var/www/wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/easy-fancybox/easy-fancybox-class.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear’) in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/easy-fancybox.php on line 63

    Is there easy-fancybox folder twice?

    Domain mapping settings:

    Server Ip Addres:
    my dedicated ip

-Allow multiple mappings per site: no checked
    -Administration mapping: mapped domain

Hmmm… you are using Easy FancyBox version 1.5.7 now? Could you try the development version from https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-fancybox/developers/ under Other Versions?

    Thread Starter jantsu78

    (@jantsu78)

    Yes, 1.5.7

    1.5.8-beta.5 seems to work!

    edit:
Pro extension gives me a note with 1.5.8-beta.5 ->
Warning: The current Easy FancyBox plugin version is not fully compatible with your version of the Pro extension. Some advanced options may not be functional. Please download and install the latest Pro version

Ah, sorry I was not aware you’re a Pro user 🙂

Please contact me on http://premium.status301.net/contact/ and I’ll send you the Pro beta version for full compatibility!

Yes I see this fatal error and I use WPMU Dev domain mapping plugin as well.

PHP Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/easy-fancybox/easy-fancybox-class.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/easy-fancybox.php on line 63

The v1.5.8-beta.5 seem to resolve this problem.

Hi Denis, you had Easy FancyBox activated Network wide too I suppose?

It looks like WPMU Dev’s Domain Mapping changes the return value of plugins_url() in some cases. Weird.

    Thanks for reporting 🙂

Yep, I use it sitewide on my network. You are very welcome 🙂
