• Good plugin, but a couple of (minor) disappointments:
I don’t see any way to easily change heading, which defaults to “Business Directory”.
Also the payment collections (in the free plugin) are limited to Authorize.net and Google Wallet (which has been closed since 2014). In order to use PayPal, it’s necessary to buy an additional plugin. That’s fair because the directory plugin is free — and the author should certainly be entitled to some income for the time and work involved in preparing this plugin. However, as I understand it the paypal plugin is licensed for only one website. It’s unfortunate some sort of discount doesn’t appear to be offered for multiple sites.

    Hi ThosEnt,

Thanks for taking the time to comment here!

The first issue you mention above is one that is easily fixed–we create a default page for output called “Business Directory”. You can rename this at any time to whatever you want. Go under Pages->All Pages and find the page named “Business Directory” You can change the title and slug there.

As for the PayPal licensing, we do offer a single and multi-site license for it. The multi site license for all modules is 2x the price of the single site module, which if you plan to deploy to more than 2 sites is a fair deal.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or issues!

Issues have been resolved, thanks to your email. However, I don’t understand why it was necessary to rely upon SMTP for email from the plugin, when the WP “contact” email worked fine. Providing default access to Google Wallet (defunct) and Authorize.net (monthly fee) should, IMHO, be disclosed in descriptions of the plugin. Information/troubleshooting is scattered. Some is here. Some is on your site. Some is in your forum (which I couldn’t access to post). Needle/Haystack–many hours expended trying to find solutions, and I’m sure you can appreciate that can be frustrating. I appreciate the effort you have expended in coding and supporting the plugin and, as I have said, I believe you are certainly entitled to some remuneration for your efforts. Thank you for your replies.

We’ll make things a bit more clear–thanks for that comment.

The SMTP use is something that happens on certain hosts–we’ve not found a pattern on that yet. But I’m happy that you found that it works now.
