I really like Google Calendar Events, but think it would be a great option if the plugin would output all events as a list without having to specify a range. This would be useful because you could create a slider from the output or style things more easily because it’s in a list format.

Basically, what I did was change the outer div to be a ul and then adjusted the inner div to be an li for each event. I removed the day div because I don’t need an extra div to get in the way of the styling…plus I don’t need the events listed by day, I just want to grab a specific number of events.

I have an example of the finished product here: http://joshrodg.com/opengate/. The events are incorporated into CarouFredSel, a very popular slider. The output is responsive and touch-friendly.

I like the code the way it is right now, just thought maybe that would either be another available option or maybe the addition of a slider option would work as well. I just think I’m not the only one that would like to have this functionality, which is one reason why I’m bringing it to your attention…the other reason is because I know when there is a plugin update I’ll have to make all of the changes over again 🙂
