We are using a WATU Pro quiz as a learning tool for students, and we would like to be able to allow students to go back to choose a different answer for a question.

With the new ‘seperate answer for each choice’ setting it would work great if there was just a way to go ‘back’ to the question and choose a different answer.

We would like to offer an explanation as to why the questions is wrong and then ask them to try again – but there is no’previous’ button, and my browser is not allowing me to go back (and I do not have the ‘disable the back button’) option checked.

Is this possible – or might it be in the future?

We want students to learn from taking the test and be able to get all the answers correct by trial and error.

Also the ability to restrict a user from moving forward with the quiz until they choose the correct answer possibly?

And is it possible to show the ‘X’ for wrong answer chosen but NOT show the green checkmark on the right answer? So only the answer the user choose is designated as ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ but the ‘correct’ answer isn’t given away so they can go back and try again.

I know the ‘right’/’wrong’ marks can be taken off altogether – but it would be nice to have the ability to have one or the other.

Thanks for your suggestions. Our resources to work on new features are very limited at this time but we will consider your feedback in the future.

I just saw that you are talking about Pro. Please send any Pro questions or requests by email, as this forum doesn’t allow us to discuss Pro.

Regarding your second question, there is variable %%UNRESOLVED%% which allows you to show questions without revealing right answers. If you have the Intelligence module, on the Advanced Settings tab of the Edit Quiz page there is an option to not reveal correct answers on unresolved questions.

I’ll mark this topic as resolved as it is not related to the free Watu plugin.
