    Welcome
Yesterday I set minor amendments to the entries and pages today try to open a page and the message I received:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /home/wjjer031/domains/eryniawtrasie.eu/public_html/wp-includes/locale.php on line 21

This file is compared with the archive both have a date 2015_05_03 and both are identical.
Since I can not go to the website can not be treated with anything in the field “reinstall”
    PHP56
What can you do? and what is this error?

And anyway if anyone might know where to find your 3.9PL WordPress and how to install it instead of 4.2.2 because I prefer that the party was ‘less’ protected than that at the moment does not work!

Thank you in advance for your help

try MANUAL updating. Download a fresh copy of the WordPress .zip file to your computer, unzip it, and use that to copy up all files and folders EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory. You may need to delete the old copies of files & folder on your server before uploading the new ones. Read the Manual Update directions first.
If you haven’t already done, always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case something really goes wrong.

No changes after manual updating? yes? then try:

    – Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches.
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems. Also remember to deactivate any plugins in the mu-plugins folder (if you have created such folder). The easiest way is to rename that folder to mu-plugins-old.
    – If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the unedited default Twenty Fifteen theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins). If you don’t have access to your admin area, use FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder by adding “-old” to the end of the folder name. Alternately, you can remove other themes except the default theme. That will force your site to use it.

No way. No change. Still dead.
I deactivated plugins (2 ways) and rename folders of themes and .. no change. 😉

Have you discussed this issue with your hosting provider?

No, because thirst cooleye plugin is dead and after few day the site was out. It’s on theme not upgradable so i try to fix site thirst.
    What can to do provider?
If I cant fix a problem I ask him to restore all from backup. But this is the final solution.. (no soution 😉 )

Thanks – this was a problem with PHP. Hosting showed version 5.6 but was working with 4.4
My friend can test it and help me.
