That feature will not be added as it’s not needed for 95% of our users. If you need that use a different plugin.
Any business that would like to show on a map “we’re here”, this other place or you is “there” could use this. “We’re only 4 miles from downtown.”
I think it might be more like 25% when we are talking brick & mortar.
The widget gave me the idea . . . . I made a a map with 2 locations on Google and took a screen shot, tucked it into an HTML widget.
For purposes of creating the visual it was as good or better as the widget – easier to put in hyperlinks above/below. Ditto for tel: link.
Most people try to make widgets that are competitive to alternative unless strictly built for fun.. YMMV
This widget will continue to be as simple as possible. A direction we can’t follow if multiple pins are added. There are more than few plugins out there that have support for multiple locations so anyone that needs them ….
