A Number of Small Issues

    I have installed My Calendar and will gladly donate/purchase book if we can resolve some issues.

    I have a mini calendar widget displayed in sidebar. If I add nav above mini-cal and hit Previous/Next, the mini-cal does not change but the calendar data in a post elsewhere does. I can leave nav off widget if this is a big deal.

    I have in a post the following:
    [my_calendar category=”3,4″ format=”list” time=”month”]

    A number of things are not working correctly.
    1. I don’t want “View as List to appear but it does. If I do toggle view it collapses mini-cal in sidebar, and only displays one event in the post area. Actually it displays several but only the first has a description, the others are just dates. If I could disable the “View as List” I would probably be fine.
    2. The Category icons and labels appear under calendar with is fine but under that are the digits “3,4” which are the category ID’s. Can those be hidden?
    3. RSS & iCal appear at the very bottom and I would like to suppress that as well.
    4. If I hit next in the calendar the next month will appear but the current month appears below (two months showing). Is that by design? As I continue to scroll through months the current month is always there. Return to current month and it’s still there. Only way to get rid of it is to refresh screen.

    In the backend when added events, is there a way to filter by category? I know I can sort by category but when adding a number of events in the same category is is easier to be just looking at those types.

    Sorry for the long list but if we can work through this plugin would be awesome.

    Scratch #4 above!! I dug deep and found id=’main_calendar’ which resolved that.

    Scratch mini-calendar issue. Apparently id=’main_calendar’ fixed that as well.

    So, ignoring all the rambling I need help with:

    1) Go to My Calendar > Settings and adjust the default navigation tools. If you drag the format toggle control down below ‘Stop’, it’ll be hidden by default on all calendars. Alternately, you can omit it from the shortcode (use the shortcode generator at My Calendar > Help) and it will be hidden. (3) The same is true for the RSS & iCal links.

    2) I’m not actually sure what that is. Do you have a URL you can share?

    aaahhh..I didn’t understand the functionality of Output Settings. Very cool. I dragged toggle & feeds below stop and everything is now perfect in my world.
