    Check the file permission for the directory events. It should be 777.

    you mean for each image? Everything is set to 777 and still the same…

    By the way, unbelievably fast response. thank you….but can you help more?!

    Cannot test your site anymore. Delete the cache_xxxxx folder insider your picture directory.

    Was this resolved? I am having the exact same issue. I had the files in /wp-content/themes/theme-name/images/folder-name/ and then moved it to the root folder of the WordPress installation in case some security plugins were blocking access.

    Right now it’s under /assets/folder-name/ and it is still saying the same error. I try to access the folder directly and it shows a 403, but then the image file shows if I access it directly.

    Need to remove the first backslash in /assets/ (assets/)
