• Well for a simple school project, installing my WordPress site from my localhost, to duplicator, through filezilla, and finally to my site in its specific folder sounds easy. Now doing through the installation on my database through 1and1.com service is another breeze. Now… here is the problem. After selecting which language, setting up site name, admin name, password and all, and finally install the WordPress site, it crashes. After now hick ups what so ever, this crashes on me at the very end. So how do I solve this problem?

Also I’m using WAMP on my computer.

  • What does the error log file display? It should generate after running the installation again.

When you set up the site, the wp-admin setup page pops up. My mistake of seeing this as step 3 (database error pop up). I though the “select language” was step 1. My bad of the correct flow path. So basically it’s after the “actual” step 1 (set up site name, username, password, email) where after I filled out the necessary info, it jumps to step two. There on step two page shows one big long database error message. I really don’t know what is going on from there.

Is it the plug-ins that I’ve installed perhaps?
