• Just upgraded from 3 to 4.3.2, seemed to have gone allright but now the images are not appearing on any post.

Post text and content is still there, post order is fine, navigation working normally. The actual comic files are of course right where they had been, but they aren’t appearing with the posts.

When I go through Edit> Add Media > Webcomic Media it says “To manage Webcomic Media please attach one or more images to this webcomic.”

I guess something messed up during the upgrade and that is what it is, but I’m not sure how to proceed from here. What can I do to re-associate these orphaned images to their posts?

Apologies for the trouble docvalentine. I’d start with the Webcomic Attacher (Media > Webcomic Attacher). It should be bale to match up all of your orphaned media files with all of your orphaned Webcomic posts so that you don’t have to slog through the process manually. You’ll want to make sure all of your comic images are actually uploaded to the Media Library first (Webcomic should have done this for you during the upgrade… but it also should have attached them for you, so you never know). Let me know if you have any more issues.

The comics are unfortunately not in the Media Library. I will go ahead and add them there manually, and have a look at the attacher afterward. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Thanks docvalentine, and apologize again for the trouble. Has this worked out at all for you?
