    Yes. That would be possible with a minor code update. But consider the other side of the problem. What if you would only want to populate the field when a new entry is created and not on edit?

    Code update would be form specific or globally? It would be ok, or is even needed for some forms to be populated with latest values, no matter if it is a new entry or an edited entry.

    This would be on a per form basis. Consider this senario:

    The first time a user fills out a form you want to help him by prepopulating some fields. But when he returns to edit his entry, you want him to edit his own information and not the prepopulated values.

    This would be ok, as those affected fields are hidden anyway and need to be populated with daily updated values. So this function would be very very very nice!

    Yes, but you need to think about other users of the plugin to. I can’t implement features that are not generic enough to fit other use cases. Ill think some about this and post back.
