    Hello,

I know we can setup “Filters” to blacklist some users. But recently I found something interesting. I got two cases, and I don’t know why Slimstats haven’t logged them:

    1. On my own computer, when I use IE to access my website, Slimstat record the visit. But when I use Firefox (now version 37.0.2) to access my website, Slimstat doesn’t show up the visit. I’m sure on both browsers, I haven’t login to my website, just normal visitor visits.

    2. I have created two admin accounts on my website for two other people, and both are not in “Filters”. I found for one admin account (the person use Chrome browser), SlimStats log all its activities. While for the other account (I’m not sure if he’s using Firefox or not), no activity is logged.

Is it Slimstats not logging Firefox visits? Or any other possibilities? Thanks.

    Hi,

recent versions of Firefox are not logged correctly because the Browscap database doesn’t include them and the heuristic algorithm fails to detect them as humans and considers them bots. We’ve already fixed this in version 4.0, which we hope to release sometime next week. Please contact us if you would like to test the beta version.

    Thanks,
    Camu
