We are also getting same error, it seems like plugin is not updated in WP repository with the changed made in YouTube API, instead developer hosted the plugin on his own site as completely new subscription system. Can Plugin Author atleast confirm this to the users?

Im guessing what people are saying is correct.
Tubepress version: 3.1.8 is not updated in the repository. Instead the creator is offering a $99 a year version 4.1.8.
